Episode 1

Episode One features a fascinating interview with Dr. Stephanie Radu, the curator of the Beachville Ontario Museum. Radu tells the story of the first ever recorded baseball game which was played in this small southwestern Ontario town in 1838. You will also learn about some of the earliest baseball games played in the area and what the Museum offers visitors.

 

Episode 2

Episode Two begins with a brief description by Dr. Stephanie Radu of the popular Baseball Pass Attractions Passport for baseball enthusiasts to tour baseball sites in the United States and Canada. Then we talk with Brian “Chip” Martin, author and historian. Chip will tell us about his research findings as he wrote his book Baseball’s Creation Myth. Martin has written ten books, six of which are on baseball.

 

Episode 3

Episode Three continues with author - historian Brian “Chip” Martin. Chip gives us more on  of Baseballs’s Creation Myth and tells us about the earliest baseball games played in Canada and the United States in this very interesting episode. 

 

Episode 4

Today we feature the legendary 90 year old University of Western Ontario Professor and historian, Dr. Bob Barney. Barney describes the founding of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame from inception to reality and humbly alludes to the role he played along with others to establish the Hall of Fame in St.Marys, Ontario.
